Keturah’s former manager Pemphero Mphande has also managed to get himself an award during this year’s MASO Music Awards which took place on December 18, 2021 at Jacaranda Cultural Center in Blantyre.
Being his first time to sign a musician, Mphande has proved to be a good manager who wishes nothing but the best for his artist.
For the nine months he had Keturah under his management, he uncovered the hidden and underrated talent that Miss Keturah had all these years and managed to put her on the spotlight.
Writing on his Facebook page, just a Keturah, the artist he was managing, Mphande said that the award does not belong to him but, Keturah whom he addressed as the “special lady”
“Yet this award, doesn’t belong to me. It belongs to a very special lady. When I first heard her song Munditengereko, i felt shivers in my body and I knew I wanted to be a part of her music journey. Her talent made it easy for me to sell her music and also win this award. This award belongs to her because she was the force,” said Mphande.
