Teachers abandon school over mysterious snakes in Zambia

Teachers at Chadeza primary school, have abandoned the institution after they have been mysteriously finding snakes in their homes.

Reports indicate that teachers, including the head, have left the school.

According to Chief Mafutas, last week, only one teacher had remained at the institution, but that he too is preparing to leave.

The Chief expressed disappointment at the development, emphasizing that parents in the area are eager to support their children to acquire education.

The Chief has since called on authorities to intervene in a matter.
