Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Spokesperson, Shadreck Namalomba will now be doubling as the Presidential Spokesperson for former President Peter Mutharika.

This is according to a statement dated December 22 2021, signed by DPP Administrative Secretary, Francis Mphepo.

In which it says that the former President has appointed him to the new position.

Mphepo said the appointment is with immediate effect.
