President Lazarus Chakwera and the first lady are wishing Malawians merry Christmas and prosperous new year.

“The first lady and I wish all teachers and health care workers a merry Christmas and a Covid-19 free new year filled with fulfillment, Success and joy,” said Chakwera.
Chakwera became the country’s president on June 23, 2020 after defeating former president Peter Mutharika.
