Albert Quansah, a 45-year-old chainsaw operator from Twifu Nkohunuho in the Central Region’s Twifu Atti-Morkwa District, is accused of defiling and impregnating his 15-year-old deaf and dumb daughter.
Norah Abagah, also known as Fatima, the victim’s mother, stated the entire family traveled to Twifo Kayireku for a one-week commemoration of their recently deceased father-in-law. She said that she noticed some behavioral changes in her daughter, hence she interrogated her.
Upon interrogation, her hearing-impaired daughter confessed to her that her father, Albert has forcibly had carnal knowledge of her during the one-week observation of her grandfather.
The suspect was said to have invited his daughter to his room, pushed her onto the bed, and forcibly had sex with the young girl who could not scream for help as she’s dumb.
Unfortunately, the victim was unable to alert anyone of her plight until she was discovered pregnant. Her father had previously had intercourse with her deaf and stupid daughter, according to the investigation.
The suspect has reportedly fled the town out of shame after the case was submitted to the Twifo Praso Police command. Fatima, his wife has also vowed to divorce the suspect for committing such a shameful act and also pleaded with the police to seek justice for her daughter.
