Ten people have been killed and 5 have sustained injuries from 43 road accidents that have been registered during the Christmas holiday.
Assistant National Police Spokesperson Felix Misomali said the number has been reduced compared to last year when 16 people died,3 sustained injuries from 67 road accidents that were registered.
He attributed this to more police patrols during the Christmas holiday.
