Unknown thugs are suspected to have rapped and stabbed to death a 60 year old granny in Mangochi.
Mangochi Police spokesperson, Sub Inspector Amina Tepani Daudi has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.
According to Daudi, the woman was found dead on Monday December 27, 2021, at her house in Mponda Village, Traditional Authority Mponda in the district.
Tepani Daudi has identified the deceased as Asiyatu Kassim.
The police have since launched a manhunt for suspected killers.
