Lucius Banda Mourns Former First lady Anne Muluzi

Politician-cum-musician Soldier Lucius Banda has sent his condolences to the Muluzi family over the passing of the country’s former first lady Patricia Muluzi.

“My heartfelt condolences to my dear brother Hon Atupele Austin Muluzi and the entire Muluzi family for the loss of your beloved mother,” wrote Banda on his Facebook page.

According to Banda, she was a loving and caring mother and a pillar to many “and today I join fellow Malawians and the Muluzi family to mourn our beloved mother.”

Anne died of cancer on Tuesday night at Aga Nkhan Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya.

This has been confirmed in a statement released by the office of the President and Cabinet (OPC) signed by Zanga-zanga Chikhosi.

She was an ex-wife to former head of state Bakili Muluzi.
