Three Nkhotakota District Council employees are battling for their lives at Salima District Hospital after being involved in a car accident.
Nkhotakota District Commissioner Ben Tohno has confirmed of the accident in an interview with the press.
According to Tohno, the accident happened on Tuesday in Salima.
It is said that the employees were on their way to Machinga District for burial ceremony of one of the council’s staff members, Arab Msume, who died on Monday.
One of the victims has been transferred to Kamuzu Central Hospital in the capital Lilongwe.
