Chaos erupted at National Economic Empowerment Fund (Neef) offices at Area 6 in Lilongwe after some angry individual invaded the offices expressing displeasure with the delay in giving them their loans.

The individuals claimed that they have waited for about six months despite paying K25,000 each as a processing fee.

They alleged that they were promised to get funds not less than K4 million kwacha within 21 days.

They vowed not to leave the premises unless they got back their deposit fees.

Meanwhile,  Neef Chief Executive Officer, Humphreys Mdyetseni and spokesperson, Whyton Kapasule are yet to comment on the matter.
