Center for Democracy and Economic Development Initiative (CDEDI) has called on the Tonse administration to start fulfilling promises it made ahead of the fresh presidential poll in 2020.

Executive director for CDEDI Sylvester Namiwa said Malawians deserve a government that is trustworthy and urged the administration to take advantage of the new year.

He also cautions government that all decisions regarding Covid-19 must be based on genuine science and not just copy and paste from other countries.

Namiwa has reminded President Chakwera that he promised to resign if he fails to fulfil his promises in two years of being in power.

But the Tonse has always insisted that it is running the affairs of the country in an open and transparent manner.
