The body of former first lady Annie Muluzi has arrived in the country through Kamuzu International Airport (KIA).
The plane carrying the remains landed at KIA at around 9am.
The country‘s First Lady Monica Chakwera is among top officials who have welcomed the body of late Anne Muluzi.
According to the funeral program seen by this publication, her body will be taken to area 3, Muluzi residence for vigil. Later on Wednesday her body will be taken to Msinja Malingunde.
She will be buried on Thursday and President Lazarus Chakwera and first lady Monica are expected to attend.
