The Ntcheu Senior Resident Magistrate Court is today expected to start hearing the case of 46 year old man Vincent Dzimadzi who was arrested for allegedly abusing a minor at Gochi 2 village, Traditional Authority (T/A) Mpando in the district.

Dzimadzi was arrested in October last year following his video clip that went viral while assaulting a 14-year-old boy in the district.

Dzimadzi is answering a case of committing an act intended to cause grievous harm but he pleaded not guilty.

Previously, Dzimadzi was being represented by Counsel Henry George Kadzakumanja who later withdrew from the case. The accused is now being represented by Counsel Fostino Mayere.

Meanwhile, the state is expected to parade six witnesses including 18 photos extracted from the video clip.
