A named Head Teacher in Lusaka has been sentenced to 2 years in prison for allegedly stealing K95,000 from school coffers.
The money was stolen between February and October last year and It has been established that the female headteacher was heading a big mission school.
Last year, another Female Head Teacher was jailed in Ndola for stealing K100,000 from the school coffers.
It should be noted that if she was at a government school, she would have gone unpunished because most of Head Teachers in government schools do steal more than that, but no one has ever been questioned talk less of taking them to court.
