Days after activist Bon Kalindo announced that he will resume his anti-government protests this month, government has expressed shock over the announcement.
Last year, Kalindo and other human rights groupings took to the streets demonstrating against government over its failure to fulfill campaign promises.
This year, Kalindo alongside other human rights advocate have said they will not relent until government hear their demands.
Government spokesperson Gospel Kazako is insisting that government is aware of the problems that Malawians are facing and they are working on them.
However Kalindo is adamant he will proceed with his planned protests, saying government has failed to meet their demands.
