The Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority (MERA) has assured Malawians that the country is having sufficient stock levels and continued flow of fuel supply.
MERA Chief Executive Officer Henry Kachaje said this when responding to reports of fuel scarcity that has hit the north especially Mzuzu City.
Kachaje said the fuel distribution plan affected by logistical and operational challenges is being restored.
He has since urged the public to desist from speculations, which he says might lead to anxiety and panic buying.
