Lillian Banda, a 28 year old nurse who three days ago complained of not getting married on facebook has found herself a husband called Benny Daka, 30 who is a businessman in Lusaka. Benny’s father is Zambian while his mother is Somalian.

According to Benny, immediately he saw the post on Zambian Accurate, he contacted the admin for the nurse’s number and called her. She was excited to get a call and the two met this afternoon in Lusaka where they agreed to be in a relationship and get married in December this year. This is the beauty of Zambian Accurate.

Editor, what is happening in the Ministry of Education is also happening in Health. My reference is made to the article u posted 3 days ago where a female it was complaining of men not marrying. Am Lillian, a nurse here at UTH. I started working here in 2016 as my 1st deployment but up to now am still single. Men hesitate to propose love to us for reasons best known 2 dem. At UTH, over 100 female nurses are still single despite crying for marriage everyday. Others get impregnated by married pipo. In short, its NOT only teachers who find it hard to get married, even us nurses suffer the same predicament after deployment. Only married doctors, clinical officers and worse still, male patients propose us something that is against our will. Please men, as you recruit for marriage this year, remember nurses also. We (nurses) are equally suffering, we also want to stop admiring our male patients for marriage. We also want to be called Mrs Someone. I submit, Lillian.
