One of the social commentator and United Transformation Movement (UTM) members Joshua Chisa Mbele has arrived at Lilongwe Magistrate Court for bail ruling.
Onjezani kenani, a friend to Mbele has confirmed of the development in a statement posted on his official facebook page.
“My friend, Joshua Chisa Mbele , who spent last night in a cell at the Area 3 Police Station, has arrived at the court and is waiting for his ruling,” wrote Mbele.
On Thursday, the presiding magistrate reserved his ruling and adjourned the case to today.
Mbele was arrested on Tuesday on grounds that he made on Facebook alleging that some top government officials received money from Zunneth Sattar who is currently under investigation by the UK and Malawian authorities on corruption related offences.
