Mutharika family denounces Kalani Thom Mutharika

The Mutharika family has distance itself from a man only known as Kalani Thom Mutharika, calling him as an imposter.
In a statement by Democratic Progressive Party signed by spokesperson Shadreck Namalomba who is also Mutharika’s spokesperson, the DPP president and his entire Mutharika clan are dismayed to learn that they do have a sibling by the name of Kalani Thom Mutharika and that he is destitute.
The statement further said that the family of Peter Mutharika had six children who survived into adulthood; Jinnie, Lizzie, Bingu, Ida, Peter and Christina.
The statement also added that, anyone who claims to be a sibling to the Mutharika family is an imposter.
The statement has also warned Kondwani Nankhumwa, who is said to have visited the alleged imposter, to slow down and not to take his war for presidency too far.
