Police in Ntcheu have arrested four people for allegedly stealing 213 railway slippers wealth K15 million.

According to the police spokesperson in the district Rabecca Kwisongole, her office received a report of stolen items that belong Central African Railways at Sharpevalley Station and on Monday, they arrested four suspects.

The four have been identified as Paul Simkonda aged 37, Bester Makalani aged 27, Emmanuel Henry aged 26 and Victor Makwelero aged 40.

They will appear before court soon to answer charges of theft and contravene.
