A Canadian man named Remy says he’s spent over R1 million tattooing his body.
Remy has tattooed almost every part of his body including his bum which he revealed in an interview with Daily Star that it was ‘fairly sensitive’.
His pictures on Instagram indicate that he hasn’t inked parts of his face, ears, soles of his feet and parts of his palm.
Remy Schodfield who is a Canadian chef by profession has shared inks on his body and also shared some stories about his tattoos.
The 33 year old chef told the publication in an interview that he got his first tattoo in 2009 which was in his son’s name.
“Since I started getting tattooed I’ve spent somewhere around 120 000 to 130 000 Canadian dollars,” (R1.4 million to R1.6 million).
“But including piercings, I’m well over 150 000 Canadian dollars (R1.8 million).
He’s tattooed his chest, legs, stomach and his head and said the inside of the bum, or the deeper regions of the inner thighs are the most sensitive areas to tattoo on a human body.
Remy adds that he only gets trolled online about his tattoos and hasn’t really gotten bad remarks in real-life.
He says people are mostly just curious about his tattoos when they meet him and don’t offend him.
He adds that he’s never received any bad comments from any of his family members about his tattoos.
“When I receive hate online I either ignore it or wish the hater/troll well, as I’m big enough to realise what’s upset them isn’t me.”
Sharing some advice about tattoos, Remy said one should not be in a rush to get their tattoo.
“If you do this as a marathon rather than a sprint you’ll have a lot better time and make better memories”
