Former United Transformation Movement (UTM) National Youth Director Bon Kalindo has described the Tonse Alliance as administration as the ‘most corrupt in the country’s history’.
Kalindo said this during the anti-government protests dubbed ‘Malawi salibwino’ held in Blantyre on Friday.
In his speech Kalindo said all Tonse Alliance campaign promises such as cheap water and passport and drivers licence fees, 1 million jobs and ending corruption, have not been fulfilled.
Kalindo said he is ‘not afraid of anyone’ but calls on the protesters to remain peaceful.
The protesters are expected to deliver the petition to Blantyre City Council.
