Ex-Police IG Peter Mukhito appointed as DPP Deputy National Director of Elections

Former Inspector General of the Malawi Police Service (MPS) Peter Mukhito has been appointed as Deputy National Director of Elections responsible for the Southern Region in the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).
This has been confirmed in a statement posted on facebook page seen by this publication.
Mukhito also served as Chief of Staff at State Residences under the reign former President Peter Mutharika.
Apart from Mukhito, the party has also made several appointments with the youngest Member of Parliament Fyness Mangonjwa also being given a post.
Mangonjwa will now be serving as DPP Deputy National for Religious Affairs.
