A female motor cycle passenger died last night while another sustained multiple fractures and admitted to Queen Elizabeth Central hospital in Blantyre after a motorcycle they rode was involved in an accident in Neno district.
According to a police report, a lorry being driven by Mr Grinjer Mbewe heading the direction of Mwanza hit the motorcycle which was being operated by Mr Goodson Msampha at a place known as Naminjale along the M6 road when the rider was turning right along the road.
District police station spokesperson Sub-Inspector Austin Kamwendo has identified the deceased as Kisa Chipyoza who was a teacher at Luwani primary school and died at Lisungwi community hospital while receiving medical treatment.
The injured is Getrude Makoza.
