Self-Styled Prophet Austin Liabunya has denied prophesizing that the Malawi national Football team the flames will reach the finals, describing the said prophecy as fake.
The development came barely hours after one of the favourite teams Super Eagles of Nigerial crashed out of the competition after going down to Tunisia.
Last week, social media was flooded with a prophecy bearing the name of Prophet Liabunya claiming that Flames will face Nigeria in AFCON Finals.
In the prophecy, Liabunya hinted that Malawi will beat Morocco before beating the winner between Ivory Coast and Egypt.
But Liabunya has denied releasing the prophecy.
“WE’RE TOLD – The fake picture/ post below has been circulating in WhatsApp Groups since yesterday.
“This has been designed by Satanists who aim at turnishing my name which again, they will fail. No one and nothing can turnish my name with fake stunts.” Wrote Liabunya.
He added: “I never prophesied that Malawi would get to the finals, never! It can’t.
“PLEASE verify everything you see/read/hear somewhere with what is posted here. If you can’t find it here, IT’S FAKE!
“The ones who have done this has already been cursed if they don’t come out and confess. Sickness will not leave them and their family and everyone connected.
“I, Senior 1, curse them!!”.
Malawi will face Morocco this coming Tuesday in Cameroon.
