Government through the Ministry of Education has temporarily suspended classes in schools in the Southern Region from today due to bad weather.
This follows continuous rains in the region which has led to flash floods and destruction of property.
In response, the ministry has called for a suspension of lessons and advised boarding schools to enforce the staying indoors measures.
