Malawi leader Lazarus Chakwera has dissolved his cabinet immediate Yesterday, January 24, 2022.
Chakwera made the announcement yesterday during the presidential national address at Kamuzu Palace in Lilongwe.
According to Chakwera, all ministerial functions should be referred to his office until he appoints another cabinet.
The Malawi leader also hinted that he will not include former minister of lands in the new Cabinet as a way of diverting his (Msukwa’s) focus on the case he is allegedly on.
Chakwera said new Cabinet will be announced in two days.
