Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Member of Parliament for Lilongwe City South East Ulemu Msungama and son to former President Dr. Joyce Banda, Roy Kachale have been fired from Cabinet.
This is according to the final lists of new Cabinet Ministers appointed by President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera released on Thursday night made available to faceofmalawi.
Msungama has been replaced by former Minister of Homeland Security Richard Chimwendo Banda who is also leader of the house in Parliament.
Apart from the two, President Chakwera has also fired Rashid Gaffer and Felix Mlusu on the posts of Minister of Energy and Mining and Minister of Finance respectively.
On the post of Deputies, Chakwera has fired Agnes Nkusa Nkhoma on the post of Deputy Minister of Agriculture.
Chakwera has replaced her with Halima Alima Daud, M.P.
