Prophet Shepherd Bushiri of Enlighten Christian Gathering (ECG) church has invaded the southern region where is scheduled to cheer people affected by Cyclone ‘ANA’.
The visit comes barely days after President Lazarus Chakwera declared a state of disaster all places affected by cyclone ‘ANA’.
Bushiri’s spokesperson Ephraim Nyondo has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.
“This week we are in Southern Region of Malawi to comfort with prayer and also support with necessities tens of thousands that have been heavily affected by disasters in recent days.
“Keep us in prayer,” said Nyondo.
Cyclone ‘ANA’ has claimed 32 lives in Nsanje, Chikwawa and part of Mulanje.
