The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) on the Copperbelt has started collecting signatures from members of the public and other stakeholders to campaign against the teaching of comprehensive s*xuality education (CSE) in schools.

Various stakeholders, including traditional leaders, are concerned about the teaching of CSE in schools on grounds that the contents.

are “too explicit for young children”.

EFZ is collecting signatures from church leaders, parents and other interested parties to fight the teaching of CSE in schools.

The association is targeting to collect 10,000 signatures, and so far, more than 3,000 people have signed.
