Police in Blantyre have arrested three women and one man for being found with one thousand kilograms of Indian Hemp (Chamba).
The people have been identified as Felister Mose aged 22, Esther Tembo aged 38, Thoko Thoko aged 45 and Lawrence Banda aged 39.
According to Blantyre Police spokesperson Sub-Inspector Peter Mchiza the quad were arrested on February 2, 2022following an inspection which took place in the city.
The prohibited product was found in houses and business paces of the suspects.
Mchiza said the suspects will appear before the court to answer the charges leveled against them.
