The meeting between the Legal Affairs Committee of parliament and the ACB Director General for  which was expected to take place today has been postponed as the director general Martha Chizuma is reportedly on leave.

Confirming the development, chairperson for the committee Peter Dimba has said they would set another day for the meeting.

On Thursday, the committee had a meeting with the Director of Public Prosecution Stevie Kayuni to hear from him why the DPP denied the ACB consent to prosecute Ashork Nair in corruption related cases.

On Monday, the committee was expected to hear the side of the ACB on the matter through its Director General Martha Chizuma.

Ashork Nair who is a business partner to businessman Zunneth Sater is a suspect in shady deals.
