A Nigerian man has been arrested for attempting to kill his mother by pouring acid on her over her failure to disclose his biological father.
The man identified as Tochokwu Emmanuel lost control of himself after he discovered that the man they he and his siblings have been living with and call dad is not actually his biological father.
According to the residents, on two different occasions, Emmanuel had tried to attack his mother and pour acid on her but he has not been so lucky because their neighbors had always intervened and prevented him from doing so.
Recently, he went to his mother’s house at Godswill Street, Isheri Olofin in Idimu area of Lagos, broke the iron gate and forced himself inside in order to pour acid on his mother but the barking of the dog alerted the neighbors and he was prevented from entering the apartment.
Reports indicate that his biological father and mother had divorced long ago when he was a kid and the mother re-married to his step father.
