Death has been announced of a youthful Catholic Major Seminarian Benedict Parikh who was on Pastoral experience at Gambula Parish in Mulanje district.

According to reports, the Seminarian was taking a morning run when he fell along the road, but at the time he collapsed, Parikh was walking.

He was later taken to Mulanje District Hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The body is currently at College of Medicine Mortuary.

Funeral arrangements will be communicated later. He was originally from St. Martin Chirimba Parish.
