Following the death of socialite and businessman Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure in November 2020, a documentary has been released titled “Ginimbi: The Final Hours” which retraces the last few hours of his life.

The documentary makers also interviewed Ginimmbi’s associates, Prophet Passion Java and DJ Towers. Ginimbi and Prophet Passion had what appeared to be a rivalry on social media. In the documentary, the controversial prophet insisted that there was no bad blood. He claimed that the two engaged in antics on social media to keep followers engaged and to gain traction.

DJ Towers, who was Ginimbi’s protegee, appeared visibly distraught and paid tribute to the huge role Ginimbi had played in his life. He also hit out at critics who allege that the late businessman’s wealth was based on murky illicit activities or the occultic.

The flamboyant businessman died on November 8, 2022, at the age of 36, after his Rolls Royce Wraith was involved in a high-speed crash, which resulted in the super vehicle bursting into flames. The luxury car went off the road and exploded after colliding with a Honda Fit.

Socialite Michelle “Mimi Moana” Amuli, who was celebrating her 26th birthday, also perished in the fiery crash with two other associates.
The three died in the burning car when the doors failed to unlock due to the impact of the collision.

Ginimbi was buried at his palatial mansion in Domboshawa.
