President Lazarus Chakwera yesterday held a meeting with cabinet ministers at Kamuzu Palace in Lilongwe.
Leader of the house Richard Chimwendo Banda, MP, confirmed of the development but could not divulge more details on the agenda of the meeting.
According to Chimwendo Banda, it was a normal party meeting.
He continued that it has been a tradition that the President meets the government MPs at the beginning and end of any Parliament meeting.
The Minister of Youth and Sports also added that there is nothing surprising for the president to meet his ministers citing that even the opposition do the same.
Chakwera often seeks audience with the ministers to get progress reports on how they are preforming in their respective ministries.
