Former United Transformation Movement (UTM) National Youth Director Bon Kalindo has suspended all planned nationwide demonstrations over devastating Cyclone ‘Ana.’
Kalindo, popularly known as Winiko announced this during a media briefing held in the capital Lilongwe today.
In his speech Winiko observed that that the Chakwera led administration is showing commitment to respond to raised concerns during previous demonstrations.
He cited the downward revision of tollgate fees, firing of former minister of Land and Urban Development Kezzie Msukwa among others as examples.
