Woman, teenager arrested for poisoning a lady to death with an attempt to snatch her husband

Police at Lunzu in Blantyre are keeping in custody a girl aged 14 and a 50 year old woman for allegedly murdering a certain woman.
Chileka Police Public Relations Officer, Sergeant Jonathan Philipo has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
Philipo said both the girl and the woman, Christiana Chiomba come from the area of Senior Chief Kapeni in the district.
He said the deceased, Janet Ulendo , 28 collapsed while taking a bath and was pronounced dead upon arrival at Mtengo umodzi Private hospital.
Philipo added that a niece to the deceased, later confessed to poisoning her aunt on instruction from Chiomba who reportedly wanted the husband to marry the girl.
