Police in Kasungu have arrested four people for being found in possession of property suspected to have been stolen.
The four, identified as Emmanuel Ngalande, Humphrey Nkhali, Stanley Kamsale and Clement Billy were found in possession of 77 National IDs, 39 bags of Fertilizer and Money amounting to K538, 500.
Kasungu Police Public Relations Officer Joseph Kachikho confirmed the development saying the two suspects were arrested at Kapelula ADMARC and other suspects were arrested at Shayona Cement Junction along Kasungu-Nkhotakota road.
The four will appear will appear before court soon to answer charges of theft contrary to section 329 of the Penal Code.
