There has been a murder in Blantyre that is shocking the nation as renowned lawyer Kajani Banda who was was attacked by unknown people finally died in hospital.
The Malawi Law Society (MLS) has requested police to quickly investigate and arrest the people who severely injured and dumped lawyer Kajani Banda around Kameza in Blantyre last week.
Honorary Secretary for MLS, Chrispine Ngunde has reporters a few minutes ago, that lawyer Banda died on Sunday at Mlambe hospital after sustaining serious injuries from the attack.
“Kajani Banda was a quiet and dedicated legal practitioner. We then ask the police to arrest the attackers,” says Ngunde.
Chileka Police officer in charge Assistant Commissioner Ruth Harawa says investigations are underway to arrest the assailants.
This murder has shocked many people as the nation just comes to grips with another murder of MRA director of Dedza Alinafe Bonongwe whose body was laid to rest on Sunday afternoon.
