Information Minister Gospel Kazako has trashed statements made by the Leader of opposition Kondwani Nankhumwa saying President Lazarus Chakwera’ response failed to tackle critical issues while responding to questions in Parliament this morning.
For instance, the DPP president for the south questions Chakwera’s statement that the loan distribution exercise under the National Economic Empowerment Fund is progressing well when treasury conceded it was facing some hitches.
However, responding to the sentiments made, Information Minister Kazako thinks Nankhumwa’s argument is not adding up; saying the president addressed the issues well enough.
Kazako added the leader of the opposition’s response only shows they are going to Singapore while Chakwera is taking the country to Canaan.
On Tuesday, the Malawi leader appeared before parliament to answer questions from lawmakers on matters arising from his presented SONA.
