Barely a month after the Anti-Corruption arrested and charged Kabushi Member of Parliament Bowman Lusambo with various offences, the commission has now pounced on his wife.
The ACC yesterday summoned Mrs Lusambo at 14:00hrs and formally arrested and charged her around 16:00 hours.
Mrs. Lusambo, who was in the company of her husband, was however released around 18:00 hours.
She is expected to appear in court on March 9, 2022 . She has been charged with counts of concealing properties suspected to be proceeds of crime.
The four properties are allegedly in Silverest.
