Member of Parliament for Chiradzulu South Constituency Joseph Mwanamvekha has resigned as shadow cabinet minister with immediate effect.
Mwanamvekha was appointed by the leader of opposition Kondwani Nankhumwa as Shadow Minister of Finance.
In a letter directed to Nankhumwa, Mwanamvekha said the appointment of shadow cabinet ministers by Nankhumwa, was made against the values of the former ruling party.
Since Nakhumwa appointed shadow cabinet, he has been receiving criticisms from his party.
