A third victim has died in Salima Floods after another wall collapsed on a girl at Traditional Authority Maganga in the district.
Spokesperson for Salima District Council Grace Kapatuka has confirmed the development; adding another young girl aged 13 is admitted to Mafco Heath Center receiving treatment.
She adds the Council expects 200 bags of maize from the Department of Disaster Management Affairs (Dodma).
The Council has also received 850 packets of Vitamil porridge from a well-wisher.
Kapatuka says they expect the Roads Authority’s intervention on the Lifidzi Bridge which has been washed away.
