Police in Zomba has arrested a Taxi Driver for posting threatening Words towards the Police.

Eastern Region Police Spokesperson Joseph Sauka has confirmed the development while identifying the suspect as Denis Charles Antondo.

According to Sauka, the suspect was arrested on Friday at 4 miles in the district during a roadblock search.

It is alleged that Antondo, posted words in support of the Mangochi Sienta driver who murdered a female traffic police officer on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Antondo will soon appear before the court where he will be formally charged.
