Police in Lusaka have picked up a body of a 32-year-old man who was shot by unknown criminals.
Police spokesperson Rae Hamoonga stated that Chama Mwango of house number C731 Mtendere East was shot at by unknown criminals between 03:00 and 06:30 hours today.
“The deceased body was found facing upwards in a pool of blood and he sustained a gunshot wound in the head. After searching the scene of crime, two AK47 rifle empty cartridges and a projector were found on the scene,” Mr Hamoonga stated.
He stated that the body of the deceased has been deposited in the University Teaching Hospital Mortuary awaiting Postmortem.
