Police in Mulanje have impounded at least 15 vehicles for allegedly contravening with road safety rules.
Mulanje Police Spokesperson Sub-Inspector Gresham Ngwira confirmed of the development.
According to Ngwira traffic police officers in the district impounded the vehicles during a special traffic operation they carried in the district.
He said among the vehicles are minibuses after the drivers committed offences such as; driving without license, driving without insurance and exceeding carrying capacity.
