Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Director General Martha Chizuma has distanced herself from a facebook account bearing her name.

Eerier this week social media was awash with posts on facebook allegedly from Martha Chizuma reacting to a lawsuit by Ashok Kumar.

Kumar sued Chizuma for defamation over a leaked audio clip where the ACB DG opened up about the challenges she was facing in doing her job.

Chizuma wrote: “He who comes to equity must come with clean hands!”
Speaking in an interview with one of the local daily papers Chizuma denied owning the said facebook page.

She accused people of creating the said fake facebook page to tarnish her image.

“It has taken long since I last posted on Facebook. I cannot speculate why people are doing that but then that’s social media. It’s difficult to control, but I plan to report it to Facebook. To say that an imposter on Facebook page is going to affect my work here, if truth be told, is overkill,” said Chizuma.

Meanwhile, concerned citizen led by social media commentator Joshua Chisa Mbele have organized demonstrations against Ashok Kumar who has sued Chizuma.
