Organizers of Citizens Against Impunity and Corruption Joshua Chisa Mbele is scheduled to hold a press briefing today.
According to Chisa Mbele, the press briefing will take place at 2 in the afternoon at Lingadzi Inn in the capital Lilongwe.
Initially, Chisa Mbele planned to hold the presser last week on February 24, 2022.
Tomorrow, Chisa Mbele is mobilizing people to go to the streets to demonstrate against Ashok Nair’s move to sue Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) boss Martha Chizuma for alleged defamation.
Ashok’s decision to open a case against the ACB Czar is in relation to the leaked Audio clip which went viral last month in which Chizuma was telling unknown individual that Nair’s release from custody by a high court judge was influenced by corruption.
According to Chisa Mbele, the move is a plot to suffocate Chizuma’s efforts in fighting corruption in the country.
