Police in Limbe have arrested a 29-year-old man, James Nembe who was found in possession of Blantyre Water Board (BWB) property suspected to have been stolen.
According to Limbe Police Station spokesperson Patrick Mussa, the law enforcers found Nembe in a maize field with some materials allegedly belonging to BWB
The items include five water metres whose value has not yet been ascertained.
He will appear before court soon to answer charges of theft.
Nembe hails from Wisiki Village, Traditional Authority Machinjiri in Blantyre.
